Mount Langhi Ghiran Winery

An extension to the Mount Langi Ghiran Winery near Ararat provided public and staff facilities to complement the existing Barrel Cellar and fermentation Hall shed.

The program included cellar door sales, administration and boardroom facilities, laboratory, winemaker’s office and workshops/storerooms.

Employing the form and materials of the existing building, the design presents a cohesive built form whilst exploiting the views on offer over the planted vineyard and surrounding rock formation as well as providing a cellar door sales area for the public to complement the impressive wine on offer.
